Recap From the First Half of the Hungarian Water Polo Championship

The first half of the Hungarian Championship concluded on Saturday December 18th, after the 13th round of matches. Kaposvár finished the half 9th on the table with 15 points from 4 wins and 3 draws. The team recorded wins against Debrecen, Szeged, Eger and Vasas, and drew against Szentes, Miskolc, and UVSE. Two of the wins were more significant than the others, as the win against Eger was the first in the teams history and Kaposvár was the only team able to defeat Vasas in the first half of the championship. Kaposvár has shown some good quality this year but will need to show more consistency next year as the three draws were against opponents below them on the table.
