Kaposvár Water Polo Club will start the 2021/2022 OB I season this Wednesday against last year's bronze medalist Ferencváros. KVK will not have an easy task against the green and whites, and on Saturday a much more important match will come against Debrecen.
This will be the start of my second season at Kaposvár. Most of the team from last year has returned this year, however there have been a few changes. Márk Grieszbacher, Boldizsár Csiszár, Ákos Vékony and Olivér Kovács left the team, and they were replaced by Kristóf Csoma, Bence Varga and Aleksa Petrovski from Serbia.
The OB1 Championship has been reduced by two teams from 16 to 14 this year, so each game has much more importance. All the teams from last year return to the 1st division, while Tatabánya and KSI got relegated to the 2nd division.
The Kaposvár - Ferencváros match starts on Wednesday at 7:30 pm, while the battle against Debrecen starts on Saturday at 4 pm in the Ferenc Csik Competition Swimming Pool.
