Start of a New Club Season With Kaposvár

As many of you may know I am returning to Kaposvar for the next club season. This will be the start of my third season with the club. Each year I have been with the club I have seen that we have improved and we have gotten stronger, so I can only hope for the same this year!

To begin I will list the arrivals and departures:

Kristof Szatmári (Vasas)

Frank Pellei (Szentes)

Janos Takács (Szentes)

Attila Aranyi (Pecs)

I would like to thank all those who left us from last season and wish them luck with their new clubs. In terms of arrivals first we have Kristof Szatmári from Vasas to reinforce the perimeter. He is a player that brings a lot of experience and game knowledge to our team. Next, from Szentes we have Frank Pellei and Janos Takacs. Both are also experienced players coming to reinforce the center of the pool with Frank being a center defender and Janos as a center. Finally we have Attila Aranyi from Pecs. This will be his first season in the OBI league but he will bring young energy as he looks to prove himself at this level.

We will begin the league this weekend Saturday, October 8 in Szeged. If this match will be anything like last season it will be a competitive one. Last year we each had one win and one loss, with Szeged finishing the league in 7th while we finished 9th.

We will then play two more important matches this month. It will be our home opener against UVSE and then we will go to Pecs for another difficult derby.
